The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for the Indian Economic Service (IES) / Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2026. A total of 44 vacancies have been announced (IES: 16 Posts, ISS: 28 Posts) for Junior Time Scale positions.
The written examination will begin from 19 June 2026 and will be conducted at 21 examination centres across India.
There is no application fee for Female / SC / ST / PwBD candidates. All other candidates are required to pay Rs. 200/-. Applications are accepted through online mode only.
