Eligibility

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh
• Student must be currently enrolled in a recognized school/college/institute
• Pre Matric: Only Class 9th or 10th students
• Post Matric: Only Class 11th or 12th students
• Post Matric Other Than Intermediate: All courses except 9th–12th
• Previous class must be passed
• Aadhaar must be linked with bank account

How To Check & Download UP Scholarship Status 2026

• Visit the Check Status link given below
• Click on Login (Fresh / Renewal) as applicable
• Enter Registration Number, Date of Birth, and Password
• After login, click on Status option
• Your UP Scholarship Status will appear on screen

UID / NPCI Aadhaar Bank Status Check (Important)

Many students face scholarship delay due to UID/NPCI issues. Check your Aadhaar-Bank linkage carefully:

• Open UID Aadhaar Bank linking page
• Enter Aadhaar Number and Captcha
• Click on Get OTP
• Submit OTP received on registered mobile
• Linked bank details will appear
• Scholarship amount will be credited only to Aadhaar-linked bank account
• If no bank is shown, visit your bank branch and complete NPCI/Aadhaar seeding

Mode Of Selection

• Scholarship is awarded based on eligibility verification
• Document verification by institute
• Aadhaar-based DBT transfer to bank account

Scholarship Amount (Approximate)

• Pre Matric:

  • Day Scholar: ₹3,000 per year

  • Hosteller: ₹7,000–₹8,000 per year

• Post Matric (11th–12th):

  • Day Scholar: ₹7,000–₹10,000 per year

  • Hosteller: ₹12,000–₹15,000 per year

• Post Matric UG/PG:

  • Day Scholar: ₹10,000–₹20,000 per year

  • Hosteller: ₹15,000–₹25,000 per year
