- Senior Secondary with 45% marks and passed / appearing in final year of 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE norms, OR
- Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed / appearing in final year of 4-Year B.El.Ed, OR
- Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed / appearing in final year of 2-Year Diploma in Special Education, OR
- Graduation and passed / appearing in final year of 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education, OR
- Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed Degree
Secondary Stage (Class VI to VIII)
- Graduation and passed / appearing in final year of 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education, OR
- Graduation with 50% marks and passed / appearing in 1-Year B.Ed, OR

VALIDITY OF CTET CERTIFICATE
- The CTET qualifying certificate is valid for lifetime for all categories.
- There is no restriction on number of attempts.
