Stage Of Selection / Selection Process Details
Online Written Examination (Paper-1):
This paper includes General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mental Ability, Science, and Mathematics. It consists of 100 MCQs, carries 100 marks, and has a duration of 2 hours. There is no negative marking.
Technical Examination (Paper-2):
This paper is based on Computer and Information Technology subjects. Total marks are 100, duration 2 hours. The syllabus level is Graduation level for ASI (Computer) and Diploma level for Head Constable (Computer).
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Qualified candidates will appear for PET, which includes an 800-meter run. This stage is qualifying in nature only, and marks are not added to the final merit.
Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
Candidates must fulfill the prescribed height and physical standards. No relaxation is allowed in PMT.
Technical Practical Test:
Candidates clearing PET/PMT will appear in a 100-mark technical practical test. A minimum of 30% marks is required. Marks obtained are included in the final merit.
Medical Examination:
Shortlisted candidates must qualify the medical examination conducted by the authorized medical board.
Final Merit List:
Final selection will be prepared based on combined marks of Paper-1, Paper-2, and Technical Practical Test, subject to document verification.
